Basin Ridge Vacation rental is a newly renovated space with a cozy atmosphere and many activities to do in a variety of weather. The living room hosts a flatscreen TV with Amazon Firestick to access you streaming services as well as cable TV. There are board games, local books, and crafting supplies for rainy or snowy days too.
Our property offers full use of kayak, small fishing boat and canoe, a large lakeside fire pit, shallow swimming for the kids and many other family friendly outdoor activities.
4WD or AWD is required to drive down the driveway because of how steep it is. If your car does not have either, then you will need to walk down the driveway.

Additional Commodities
We are happy to offer additional services to make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. Although the house is fully stocked with most cooking essentials like spices, oils, & condiments, groceries can be pre-ordered and stocked prior to your arrival!
In addition, we have partnered with a local chef who can prepare and deliver meals in advance. She can also come onsite and customize a meal for any special event. If you plan on eating away from the property, picnic type lunches can also be prepared.
FAQs
Is the hot tub operational year round?
Yes, our natural cedar hot tub is available year round for our guests at no additional cost. It is the perfect spot to relax in the summer and winter. The hot tub is infinity style and overlooks the lake from the deck.
I see your listing says the driveway is steep, will I need a truck to access the property?
The driveway is approximately 200 yards with a very steep slope. You do not need a truck but AWD or 4WD vehicles are needed. Although at first sight the incline seems steep it is very manageable with the correct vehicle. For our guests that do not have access to the required vehicle there is ample parking at the top of the hill in our parking area. For your convenience, we can assist you with transporting your luggage and any groceries etc. for you to the house.
What water recreation toys are available at the property?
We are happy to provide all your water toy needs. Available for our guest use are 3 adult kayaks, 2 adolescent kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 Stand Up Paddle board and flat bottom fishing boat with electric trolling motor. We have a large supply of life vests from infant to adult sizes which are required by the State of Michigan when engaging in water paddle activities.
Where is the master suite located?
The master suite is separate from the main house and approximately a 25 foot walk across the connecting deck. The master suite is the ultimate in privacy with its own bathroom and antique clawfoot tub.
